So to wrap up my project I decided to create a collage of all the photos that I took in ilkeston and heat press them onto fabric. This was going to help bring the idea of 'fragments' and 'pieces' of Ilkeston together. I started off by gathering all of my images on to a word document and placing them into a collage. I then printed them out and started and placed them on the fabric ready to heat press.

I intentionally overlapped some of the pictures to show how Ilkeston is connected through its history. Here is the final result:

After I heat pressed all of the images I cut around the white fabric in order to give a neater finish. I do like how this turned out, printing on fabric made the images look faded which I like. looking at this collage also makes me feel nostalgic about ilkeston. It was nice to get a collection of all my photos and memories and place them into one big collage.
